Chorography- the art of mapping a region
 
Spontaneous and painterly, the design for "Topographic"  was inspired by topographic geological maps of my all-time favorite artist, Mother Nature.
 
For this particular pattern I incorporated the use of a straw- blowing lightly on the surface of the water to ripple and morph the design. The resulting pattern is unpredictable and organic much like the Earth itself.
